This is hands down one of the most beautiful ways to experience Costa Rica, the majority of snorkeling and diving excursions take place around Isla del Caño because of the island's corals and the diversity of marine life attracted to the area. At Caño which is one of the best dive sites in all of Costa Rica, you have the chance to see a variety of tropical fish, as well as larger species such as sea turtles and Oceanic white-tipped sharks.

Caño Island Biological Reserve is located about 20 kilometers off the coast of the Osa peninsula. In the pre-Colombian époque the island was used as a cemetery by the former natives of this land.

Includes: Entrance to the reserve, complete diving equipment, boat and captain, a certified instructor or divemaster, lunch.

Departure: 7:30 am Return: 1:30 to 2:00 p.m.

The journey begins with a 1 hour by boat ride to Isla del Caño. Once there are 2 dives in different marine areas around Caño Island, (there are 6 points marked for diving) each dive is about 45 minutes.

Between the first and the second dive, we make a stop at Caño Island, Around midday you will have a picnic lunch on a scenic beach (playa San Josecito). After the lunch break, the boat will take you back to Drake Bay..
